Your AI Intern Should Be Working Overtime on Your Fall Marketing… Just Not How You’d Expect

Fall marketing gets busy. Fast.

Thanksgiving. Halloween. Black Friday. Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday. Holiday campaigns. Year-end messaging. And, oh yeah, all of your regular marketing still needs to happen too.

This is exactly when your AI intern should be earning its keep.

In my book, AI Didn’t Steal My Job… It Got an Internship., I talk about treating AI like an intern... not your marketing director, not your strategist and definitely not the person you hand your entire brand over to because you discovered a shiny new app.

Give your AI intern the grunt work. Tell it what you're trying to accomplish this fall and have it help map out your content. Use it to brainstorm campaign ideas, find seasonal opportunities, repurpose one great piece of content five different ways or get you past the dreaded blinking cursor with a first draft.

And before you start creating, make your intern do some research. What worked last fall? What posts actually got engagement? What emails got clicks? What questions are customers asking? What content completely flopped?

AI can help you spot the patterns. You still need to decide what they mean. Remember thaAI might make it seem incredibly easy to create more....

  • More captions.

  • More blogs.

  • More emails.

  • More graphics.

  • More. More. More.

But more marketing isn't necessarily better marketing.

At Cinis Marketing, we say marketing without strategy is noise. AI can help you create that noise at record speed if you let it... But where will that get your business? Will that help with your ROI, your engagement... sometimes maybe, but overall, noise doesn't sell.

Instead, use AI to give yourself something much more valuable: time. Let your intern brainstorm, research, organize, repurpose and create the first draft. Then use the time you saved to talk to your customers, tell better stories, build relationships, show your personality and actually think about where your marketing is going.

Because your AI intern can help you get a lot done this fall. Just don't give the intern the keys to the office.

AI didn't steal your marketing job.... It got an internship. This fall, it's time to put it to work.
